Why not come along and join us for a morning of interactive learning and exploring the stunning grounds of St. Osyth Priory?
Once a month join us to learn about local history, nature and the environment in this beautiful setting. Cross-curricular activities aimed at those aged between 7yrs-14yrs, 10am-12noon. £10 per child. Children must have an accompanying adult (free). Younger siblings welcome to join at half price.
Tickets HereOnce a week our parent and toddler group explore and play in the grounds of the Priory Estate. Children develop fine and gross motor skills through play and outdoor exploration. Use creative play and imagination in the mud kitchen and enjoy a selection of crafts and story time inside to develop language and interaction with others. This group is led by a qualified Forest School and EYSF teacher providing a stimulating and educational play and learning facility- where children are free to learn in a natural environment.
A snack is provided as well as refreshments for the adults.
Session times: Wednesdays during term time 10am-12.00 noon.
£7.50 per child £5.00 additional siblings. Suggested age group from 18months old.
Parking at Colchester Road entrance no need to pre-book just come along and join us.
We can create bespoke days for uniformed groups and their leaders hosting up to 100 children at a time providing appropriate ratios are met.
Activities include map reading skills and identify landmarks, understanding the need for clean water and creating water filters at our pond, and riding the tractor trailer.
Tours and visits can be created for groups of adults to see the Estate, learn about the past and even have a go with activities like our Medieval Medicine Programme or learn about the 1582 Witch Trails that took place in the village. You will be able to use our Education Centre as a base and space to have refreshments.
Our teenage forest group is an informal session for 12-16 year olds to interact and learn in the wonderful grounds of St. Osyth Priory Estate. This is a held at the centre on specific evenings from 6.30pm until 8.30pm.
