Your little ones are invited to St Osyth Priory Estate to enjoy outdoor learning and play in a completely unique setting this March!
Join us for a series of four Outdoor Explorer sessions throughout Spring in the stunning parklands and historic Estate. Together we will explore the grounds, spot wildlife and meet some of the Estate's animals.
We have space for up to 20 pre-schoolers to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty in the mud kitchen overlooking the Estate’s deer park.
We surveyed reception teachers and parents locally to find out what they felt would most benefit little ones whose early years have been impacted by covid restrictions and lockdowns. Using their feedback, we've created an action-packed outdoors programme designed to help little ones listen carefully, explore fearlessly, and share kindly.
Storytime inside our warm education centre will support early years literacy and give parents a chance to meet and chat. A healthy and nourishing snack will be included for every child and adult.
Sessions will end with a creative activity outdoors in which children will get stuck into nature-based make and do task linked to a different fun theme each week.
A series of four sessions will cost £30 for one adult and child. There will be no additional charge for twins and sessions will be open to children aged between 18 months and five. There are free places per session for families in receipt of universal credit.
Dates: 7th March, 14th March, 21st March, 28th March
Sessions: 10am – 12pm
